What does the Fire Muster cost?  

The Fire Muster is free entry.  Bingo and the Carnival do charge to participate.

Do I need a BFM Button for entry?  

No, but they are available for purchase near the Beer Tent.

Where Can I Park?
Parking is available in the Nicollet Middle School and Sky Oaks parking lots. There is also parking in the Heart of the City Parking Ramp (Burnsville Parkway and Pillsbury Avenue) with a shuttle operating approx. every 10 minutes between 6-11:30pm on Friday and post parade until 11:30pm on Sunday.  Street parking is also available in the area.

Is There Handicap Parking?
There is a parking lot for vehicles with Handicap permits located at the West Entrance (Nicollet Avenue).  Enter Civic Center Drive off of Nicollet Ave.  

Is there someone to assist handicapped individuals to the grounds?
There will be volunteers in golf carts shuttling people from the West Entrance to the stage area.

Where can I drop off and pickup?
We recommend either the West Entrance (Nicollet Avenue and Civic Center Drive) or at Nicollet Middle School. 

What Time are the fireworks?
Fireworks are on Saturday Night (weather permitting), sometime after dusk.  The Fire Department gives us the OK to initiate the fireworks based on weather conditions.

Can I bring my bike, skateboard or rollerblades?
Bike and roller skates/blades are not allowed on the BFM Grounds.  Skateboards are allowed to be used in the skate park only.  You must walk with your skateboard to the skateboard park.

Is there an ATM onsite?
There is an ATM located in the Ice Arena

What times is the Carnival open?
The Carnival operates Friday 5-11pm, and Saturday 12:30pm - 11pm

How much does the Carnival cost?
It varies by ride.  Buy tickets at their ticket booth.  The Fire Muster does not operate the carnival, only provides them space.

Does the Carnival take Checks or Credit Cards?

They do not.

How much is the food and beer?
Prices vary.  But you will find it to be very affordable, relative to other community festivals.

Do the food vendors & beer tent take cash and credit cards, or do you need to purchase tickets for food/beverage?  
Beer tent and food vendors only accept cash.  Some merchandise vendors may take credit card. Beer Tent sells tickets for beverages. Prices vary by what you are purchasing.

Are kids under age 18 allowed at the event without parents/adult supervision?
The Fire Muster has no set policy on age.  

When is Bingo?
On Friday, bingo is at 5:00pm in the Beer Tent. On Saturday Bingo is 3:00pm-7:00pm

Can kids play BINGO or is this an adult event (18 plus)?
It is famiy friendly, but you must be at least 18 years of age to purchase bingo cards.

Are dogs allowed at Fire Muster events?
Only certified assist dogs are allowed. You must be prepared to show us your certification.

What time do the bands play?
On Friday, the band Good For Gary starts at 7:00pm. 

On Saturday, the band Old School plays from 5pm-630pm.  The Band Eight Foot Four plays from 7pm-11pm.

Can I bring coolers and food/beverages?
No coolers or outside food or beverages.  You will find our prices for beverages are very low relative  to other festivals.

Can I bring a lawn chair?
